The LAU Tribune is the Lebanese American University’s official student newspaper. Written, edited and published by journalism seniors, it is entirely by and for students, reflecting the university’s student-centered policy.
The print version of the Tribune is published every other Monday, chiefly on LAU’s Beirut campus. It features twelve pages with articles on campus life, social media and technology, culture and fashion, off-campus issues and events. The paper also includes profiles of faculty, students and staff at LAU, as well as an open forum where any member of the community can freely express his or her opinion.
The first issue of the Tribune was published in 1997. The online Tribune will launch in May 2011.
